Chris Hunt is the Principal Broker and co-founder of Hunt Brothers Realty, a family-owned Sarasota real estate brokerage serving Sarasota and Florida’s Gulf Coast since 2012.

Chris began his career in the mortgage industry in 1999 before obtaining his real estate license in 2002. Over the years, he has worked through nearly every side of a real estate transaction, including mortgage lending, financing, contracts, negotiations, appraisals, inspections, transaction management, and brokerage operations. That experience gives clients a broader and more practical perspective than the traditional real estate sales approach.

Today, Chris and the Hunt Brothers Realty team specialize in helping relocation buyers, second-home buyers, luxury coastal buyers, and lifestyle-focused clients navigate Sarasota and the surrounding Gulf Coast islands, including Longboat Key, Siesta Key, Lido Key, Bird Key, Casey Key, Anna Maria Island, and Downtown Sarasota.

Rather than focusing only on the property itself, Chris believes real estate decisions should align with the client’s long-term lifestyle goals, financial considerations, and overall quality of life. A large part of the brokerage’s advisory process involves helping clients compare different Sarasota-area communities, waterfront lifestyles, island environments, golf communities, boating access, walkability, privacy, and long-term ownership considerations.
